50 and still ROCKING!

It was my best mate's husband's birthday yesterday - and it was a big one - he'd reached his half century so we had a bit of a get together in a local pub for tea and cakes (well it was a Sunday!)  It was a nice sedate afternoon in the sunshine but sedate is not his normal presona, he's a bit lot of a rock fan so when I spotted this fabulous image from Just Inklined I knew I had to make his card with it.


The image is coloured with copics (with spritzing with colourless blender on the guitar case to get a velvet look) and a layer of glossy accents on the guitar for some appropriately rocking shine!   I cut the sentiment on my silhouette and stuck the letters onto a red base.  I cut the image panel to fit over the red base and added a thin black strip above and below.
