Opposites attract with doodling

I've been struggling with this weeks Less is More challenge all day - they would like us to "doodle" on our card in some way.  I doodle alot when I bored, but I only ever seem to draw stars and they're not even proper ones, so this was a tough challenge for me - almost as bad as the dreaded acetate :(

I've been trying out lots of things on paper with the first ink pad I grabbed and the pen that was out on my desk and they just happened to be orange and blue which are opposite on the colour spectrum (and sooo not my go to colours) and something just clicked.  The challenge at CASual Fridays this week is to use two opposing colours so I have made a card to combine both challenges.  http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/cfc48.html

I stamped the happy birthday ticket in momento tangelo and then hand drew the squiggly lines and circles with a bright blue fine liner from muji (I LOVE these pens and was so glad when they brought them out in 15 colours not just black and blue).   Not the most inspiring card ever, but better than anything else I've come up with so far!

  1. Your doodly lines look very like a Penny Black stamp... if they can do it so can you. They look great!
I with you about the colours though!
    Thanks so much
