OK, so I hadn't planned on doing a 3rd entry, particularly not so quickly, BUT, Mandi pointed out that my last card was a bit of a cheat as a strict Monogram should NOT be the first letter of the word but should replace the word. I guess what I had done was more strictly an "illumination" rather than a monogram. I felt like I should go and sit on the naughty step so here's my penance Miss ;-) So, as I needed to make an anniversary card for my Mum to send to my cousin I decided to go down the monogram route again for this one.
I've used the same alphabet I used on my love card, but this time used the D which is decorated with daffodils as both my cousin and her husband's names begin with D. Stamped in black and coloured with pencils again but this time I've "coloured" the white outline to the letters in glue and sprinkled over glimmer dust. I've used a little wood block ampersand to join the two together (which now I've seen it on here perhaps I will go back and fill in with glitter to match the letters better) and stamped a simple Happy Anniversary (Elzybels set) with 3 yellow diamante underneath for sparkle and balance.
Ta ta for now..
