We went to a 40th on Saturday but I couldn't share the card and gift until today when the actual birthday happened and I knew it had been opened.
I went for a very simple bloke gift - a decent bottle of port as I know it's a favourite after dinner tipple and before putting it in a bottle box I made a bottle tag over it that I cut on the cameo. I cut some large numbers and double embossed them to match the sentiment from Waltzingmouse's new putting on the ritz set on the bottom.
For the card I used Stampin Up's Morning Post Alphabet and embossed in silver in on grey card before inking it up again in black and stamping off to the left for a 3D look. Mounted on a black base with a couple of rounded corners and hand drawn silver line - very masculine. I added another of the sentiments from the ritz set on the inside as it really suits the recipient!
