The heart of Christmas

I can't quite believe it, but we are already onto the second sketch in the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown  - the challenges are weekly but they follow a monthly pattern so this being the first week in the second month, it's the second sketch which is pictured below:


I had an idea to use a new Magnolia image I got in the January sales but I've then been struggling to make it fit the sketch, so am hoping my slight twist on where the sentiment goes is ok!


The lovely tilda image is coloured with copics with a little glimmer dust on her fur trim, fussy cut and then attached to the card stamped with a lovely Kaisercraft sentiment.  I used the ribbon the sentiment should been on to break the line between my DP's from a My Minds Eye stack which turned out to be a little too close to each other in shade.  I inked the edges of one with some mahogany DI for the same reason.  Have to say making this made a pleasant change from valentines cards....
