The challenge was all about "R's" - you had to use anything beginning with R on your card, rhinestones, red, ribbon etc. I went for the rhinestones and used the great bazil bling template to create the swirls of them around the image. As she's a super rock chick, there's another R too! This has quickly become my new favourite image - I love the attitude and the chance to give her the funky pink striped hair!
The decorative papers are from the Papermania capsule collection, and I used my new distressing tool to scuff up the edges a little for a rocky look. I'm new to distressing though and don't think I took it far enough. I added a strip of glitter paper and some matching corners using a sizzix die. The sentiment is computer generated using a fab font called "bleeding cowboys" from http://www.1001freefonts.com/
Here's the list of challenges I'm entering with this card:

Glitz and glam is the order of the day over at Delicious Doodles - when this rock chick is definately glam and the card is very glitzy!! http://deliciousdoodleschallenge.blogspot.com/2011/02/challenge-13-glitzglamshimmer-and-bling.html
