Playing with Geometry

I totally missed the last couple of challenges at LIM so was determined to play this week.  The challenge is a one layer card featuring a geometric pattern.

I decided to create my pattern by hand just by scoring some diagonal lines on my scoring board.

After scoring the lines I simply stamped a sentiment and some flowers in gold ink using the Happy Wishes stamp from Wplus9.  I added some liquid pearl dots in chocolate to the flower centers to finish.  Simples.

  1. Great take on this LIM challenge!

  2. very nice interpretation of the challenge , well done

  3. How clever Tara! Doing that embossing for the geometric design really helps to keep a CAS look with that wonderfully bold sentiment. I love it.
It is lovely to see you back at Less is More again.

  4. Such a creative way to add geometry! Your effort has paid off as it looks really stylish. I love the gold ink too. It all looks really posh! Great card!

  5. That scoring must have taken you for ever Tara... but what a great job!
    Thanks so much
