The Final St Luke's Challenge

Due to a number of issues in my personal life, I have had to take the difficult decision to close the challenge I set up to collect cards to sell on behalf of St Luke's Hospice - you can read the full details over on the blog  http://stlukescharitycardschallenge.blogspot.com/

We are going out with a bang however, with a bumper prize package worth over £30 and all you have to do to win it is create a traditional Christmas card.

For my card I used a reflections silhouette stamp and just added a little glitter and a gem - a very simple traditional card.

I'm also going to link this up to Ardyth's One Layer Wednesday challenge this week which is "Song in my Heart" so the song for this card has to "Away in a Manger".....

Thank you to everyone who has played along since the challenge started - you've all made a great difference to the hospice and for that I thank you greatly.

  3. Hi Tara - love the elegant simplicity of your Christmas card. The image is just perfect.

I'd like to thank you for inviting me to join the team and have the opportunity to help raise funds for such a good cause. And, to work with a team of inspirational women. I've had such fun and will miss making my cards for the challenge. However, I follow everyone, so will keep in touch. Thanks again - it's been great. xxxx

  4. Gorgeous and what a great cause! I am about to track down that stamp, but before I do, Iwanted to ask you to think of a song that goes with the image (like ANY Christmas carol) and link it up to my One Layer Wednesday challenge, to be inspired by a song - ardythpr.blogspot.com

This must have been such a difficult decision for you .. .. but it sounds like you chose well and brought together a wonderful DT who will be staying friends .. how wonderful!

Thank you for all the inspiration everyone has provided.

I am sure the funds you have raised will have made such a difference. Well done!!!

I was sad to read about your Mum and Father-in-Law. You certainly do have a lot to fit into your busy life.

Take care and make sure you look after yourself too.
