Just a quick post tonight as we have to be up early so I need to get to bed....
My hubby wanted a card for his boss whose birthday is today and I picked something up at Lakeland this week that was perfect for him as he runs a Sci-Fi/Comic shop so this is his Dr Who themed card
I made the cyberman using a Dr Who chocolate mould which has lots of fun characters - instead of chocolate I used cloud clay which I embossed with silver once it was dry. This makes it metal (ish) so fits the current theme at Cards for Men http://cardsformen.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/challenge-16-heavy-metal.html
I finished with some layering with black card and sequin material in a shimmery sci-fi holographic blue, a simple sentiment and a hand drawn border.

ReplyDeleteOkay - just love, love this card! You're very clever to make the cyberman head (always found them the most creepy of Dr Who villans). Great work!
