This week's challenge at LIM is masking http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/week-59-theme.html
I'm still feeling really dizzy and have been off work all week and am signed off for another while we try to get my high blood pressure under control. The dizzyness is caused by the meds and HOPEFULLY will lessen as I get used to them but they doubled the dose on Friday and I feel like I'm back to square one! Back again on Tuesday so we'll see what they say then.... Am getting pretty cheesed off as I haven't managed more than about an hour in my craft room in the last 8 days and can only manage 10 minutes here and there online before I feel dizzy again, so I'm sorry I've not been reciprocating your visits this week.
I was determined to try this weeks challenge and managed a quick card this morning before the meds kicked in.
I used my new Paris themed stamps from Waltzingmouse, stamped the Eiffel tower in black, masked it and stamped the border strip twice in green (I think it's a design from the metro). Added a simple sentiment and a couple of floral gems to finish.
Thanks for visiting and sorry if I don't get back round again this week. I'm really missing visiting my blogging buddies :-(
Fabulous card Tara...love the stamps you have used...hope you start to feel better soon

Poor you Tara. I think everyone understands that you're not up to visiting in Blogland so don't worry about it at all. Your card is absolutely stunning - the Eiffel tower looks amazing against that gorgeous paper and I love the sentiment and flower cluster. Take care, Vicky x
ReplyDeleteOh Tara, I`m so sorry you still feel so ill. Lets hope they get you sorted soon as.

Excellent job of masking, Tara! Love that Eiffel tower image! So sorry you're having trouble with the meds. I was having trouble with my blood pressure about a year ago and hated how the meds made me feel. I worked really hard and lost about 50 pounds and was able to quit taking medication...my blood pressure is perfectly normal now. I LOVE to eat and dieting is my least favorite thing in the world to do...except for taking meds! I'll do almost anything to keep from taking medicine!! How things get better for you REAL soon!!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card Tara - love the Paris theme.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are unwell - I hope you feel much better very soon.
Sylvia.
This is a gorgeous card, I love the way the border design curve fits right under the tower. Barb
