Coincidentally, the CASE study challenge this week has a bird cage card as the CASE card so I decided to use Julie Lacie's card as my inspiration for the layout and style.
This is what I came up with when I combined the two challenges - I stamped and embossed the bird cage in white onto a nestie circle with a pink scalloped circle. I stamped the birds onto black shrink plastic and stuck them on top of the cage. I added a matching sentiment, a double ribbon and a small handmade flower.

As I made the flower (see my tutorial page for how) I am also entering this weeks Moving Along with the Times which is to make handmade flowers.
